This tool is used for removing the flywheels on the 60 degree loop V4-V6 models, it is used on some of the ficht and later model injected models also. These flywheels do not fit on the conventional tapered crankshaft, they just bolt on/studs like a disc brake rotor. You really don’t need any tool to remove the flywheel, except to counteract the strong magnets on the stator. Trying to remove the flywheels without the tool is a good way to cut up your fingers…
