This will be an interesting project, keep us posted. I’m guessing the crankshaft part numbers are different because your FD10 uses the single lip seal on the lower end and has a bushing instead of the needle bearing and carbon seal used on the later model FD 18hp models. I guess we would have to measure the diameter of a later model FD wrist pin and compare that measurement to your wrist pins in order to continue this experiment. Hopefully you can just replace the bushing/bearings…
