The motor looks to have been re-painted. I bit too white? Quality of the paint will be hard to evaluate until you at least see it first-hand. Even then it will be a while before you realize how durable the finish will be.

When you check the lower; also be suspicious of fresh oil. Sometimes people put fresh oil in prior to a sale so it will look god and perhaps conceal a leak.

Maybe someone else will give you compression numbers to look for.

Someone put a lot of work into it. I would ask who did the work and what mechanical work was done…..
