It needs the plugs with the shorter insulator because of the lack of clearance. Champion didn’t make a plug that fit properly WRT clearance inside the aluminum cover that they have to sit behind/inside. You can use 6M or similar Champion plug but its kind of a pain to get the spark plug leads on. The AC number that I use is 82-M.
