Running duals may cause over-revving. May consider using more oil in the fuel. I think that’s what broke the
spring on the driveshaft in my Johnson 5HP TN once.
For easier steering, tie one motor straight ahead and steer with the other motor. Test it first in a safe area to see how quick it turns.
