    Well that worked fine. Is it safe to assume the evinrude & Johnson are pretty much the same? I’d like to secure an actual copy of the owner’s manual that would have come with the motor when new… just for the fun of having it.
    I found one on e-bay but got out bid at the last second… Grrrr… I’ll keep looking. Thanks everyone for your help!
