Let me ask you this: Are you married; and if so, would your WIFE or significant other, ride in this proposed boat? If so, then I would do it. You’d be able to double dip, having a very cool mechanical thing that your wife would also enjoy. My wife loves “her” Bayliner (she rides in it and I work on it) but she would not be caught dead in my aluminum boats with the antiques. Just make sure you don’t get towed back to the dock. They don’t like that.
