I removed the carb on my motor and it has a casting number on it that is different than the part number in the parts manual. The parts manual for 1955 lists it as a 375973 but the casting number on the carb is 302990. So, like the cowlings, the carburetor part number is different than the number cast into the part. Russ or anyone else that has a 3 HP carb off a 1952 through 1956 3 HP Evinrude, if you would share the casting number with me it would be helpful and I would appreciate it.
