I watched my father do all kinds of mechanical projects
from old cars to motorcycles to boat motors . . . .
after the motor was all back together and running, he had
a coffee can with extra parts in it (that he forgot to put in).
and when asked about them, his favorite response was (and which I still use today)
"in my world, that is what we call "spares".

LoL, so that may be one of your spares ???
