    I looked at my little Neptune this morning. I did braze a new skeg on, but guessing
    I just “winged it”. As long as the skeg extends down past the prop, your off to
    a good start. Most of the outboards on my rack have skegs that extend about 1″,
    some up to 2″ lower than the prop.

    Prepare to be boarded!
