Not sure I’m much help in your request on the skeg length, as
the skeg on mine was a little “short” as well.
I may have made a skeg and alumi-brazed
it on. Makes them look better asthetically, but
not a proper repair most likely.
I’ll take a look at it anyway today, as I can’t find
a photo of the skeg after I finished the motor.
Maybe you can “guesstimate” from this photo I had in my files…..?
