Well, it is only worth restoring if you like the engine and would enjoy using it, or perhaps you would just enjoy doing the project and letting someone else enjoy the engine. Generally speaking, you will probably put more into rejuvinating an old outboard than it is “worth”.
Unfortunately, I don’t know if parts are available for this engine.
But, $6 doesn’t seem like much of a gamble, even if you purchased it, then decided you are not interesting in rejuvinating it.
Hopefully a Scott guy will chime in about repair parts…
