    What is the mixture ratio on your motor? It should be 3/4 pint oil to the gallon. These are rotary valve motors with bronze crankshaft bushings. They rely on a heavier mixture to help seal the crankcase. If those bushings are worn, the engine will run lean. Recommended oil is 30 weight.
