Just pulled the power head off brand new base and head gasket and i can see right through the water passage on the lower unit i did see that he had tried to silicone the freeze plugs in not sure why i think I’m gonna buy some new gaskets and put the 5.5 back on its original lower unit i did notice that the paint on the 5.5 looks like it might of over heated so i guess I’ll find out soon enough
