    I’m working on one right now. 1953 25 hp Johnson.
    Go through the ignition, it’s a magneto. Probably needs coils, condensers for sure and either clean the points or replace. Wires and plugs too. Then impellar and change the lower gear oil.

    They are very stylish motors.
