Reply To: NGK B6S sparkplugs discontinued

The older points style magnetos in our motors need all the help they can get with strong magnets, clean and polished points, good condensers, solid core wires, soldered connections and good terminals to get a good spark at the plug. The last thing they need is a resistor in that chain.

True, a points motor will run with R plugs but it might suffer crappy idling and develop a high speed miss or stumble.

Can anyone confirm the B6S has been discontinued as I couldn’t find anything after searching for it?
