I believe he could use a magneto plate from a single if it were to be run on battery ignition.
One of mine I run on battery. The other one very much to my surprise is still running on
It’s original mag. ( very surprising )
As far as the flywheel goes I believe a single flywheel will physically fit but balancing & timing
may be an issue as I have never tried it.
