What do you want it to be? It was made for may years 1940’s- 1960’s. For sure, it is a Scott-Atwater, renamed Scott or Scott McCulloch 1958-63, then McCulloch 1964-68. Also sold as Firestone, Elgin and Wizard. It appears the original color was white, which would put it in the McCulloch era. Yep, 3.6hp, although I think the fudged a bit on that sometimes, but really still the old 3.6hp.

The main difference was some had gearshift, most did not.

They are very good running motors.
