Reply To: 1940 Johnson DT-10 driveline broke?

I will try putting straight edges against the drive tube to see if I can detect any bend. The driveshaft slid out easily, wasn’t bound up.
Someone mentioned checking the shock absorber on the prop shaft, that slid off easily. Is there a way of checking that for function?
