From what I remember, remove the exhaust snout above the prop,
disconnect the bolts and water line on the water pump, remove
the gear case cap bolts.
The water pump has a spring loaded piston inside, and a couple of
“check balls”, so make sure nothing flies or rolls away when you take
it apart.
P.S.- It never hurts to take photos as you take it apart, so you’ll have
reference on how it goes back together!
