    The reason your gearcase looks different than Johnnyrude gearcases is because it was a Chrysler product. OMC’s Gale division quit making Vikings for the T.Eaton Co in ’63 and they were sold thru ’64 until Chrysler started supplying motors branded Viking in ’65.
