Richard and Stanley , thanks for the replies. I realize now that I messed up on the post. I have recently gotten two engines. I was looking at one engine and thinking the other. One is the AB-25 with the brass lower unit. That is the one which has a bad carburetor. It has a carb, but I don’t know enough about how they are supposed to look to know if it is complete. I also have an engine A21092. No dashes in the model number. I am attaching pictures of the carbs on both engines. The second picture is off the A21092. That carb looks complete. It has a what looks to be a wood kill switch. The other picture is the AB-25. Note that it looks like the top of the carb is gone, but unlike the A21092 it has no screw holes to attach a top, but the plate inside seems to slide on the rod and there is what looks to be a retaining spring that touches the rod. Note the A-25 has a bakelite or fiber kill switch instead of wood. The carburetors on the two engines are completely different.
I appreciate your help. I would like to bring these things back to life.
