I was making my red atoms and some of them are still in my motors. I have used the nova2s also if you put new OMC coils in the motor they hold up at least for me.

Here is what I use now: https://www.amazon.com/PARTSRUN-Electronic-21119-2161-21119-2139-ZF-IG-A00345-4/dp/B084ZJNFH8/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3FD17COY5YR2Q&dchild=1&keywords=kawasaki+ignition+module&qid=1619187271&sprefix=kawasaki+module+%2Caps%2C283&sr=8-5

If you notice they only have one wire that connects to them I like that set-up. You connect the wire from the module to the wire that normally goes from the ignition coil to the points and you remove the condenser from the set-up. And you mount the module with a screw to the engine block/magneto plate. If you connect them and they do not give you spark all you have to do is swap the ground wire to the coil and wire it to the module and ground the wire that normally goes to the points. Basically you are reversing those wires and the reason you are doing that is because the polarity of the actual motor block can be positive or negative depending on how the actual ignition coil is grounded to the engine block. On a points system without a battery it does not matter if the engine block has a positive or negative ground to produce spark.

Most the time on OMC motors the wires do not need reversing on other brands they may need reversing.

    Hope that helps.
    Joe
