Found another kit, this one a better photo. It shows the same mystery spring,
but shows the float needle with a wire clip already attached.
If the needle in the kit already has a clip on it, what’s the spring for?
The needle in mine has no groove for any clip or spring to attach.
Pretty sure some on played switchero on the float needle.
