The area of the prop shaft around the drive pin hole tends to expand and get mushroomed out a bit but it can be filed down carefully and polished so the bushing inside the reverse gear and the bearing carrier slide off the shaft easily. The area where the seal rides should be polished to. A strip of fine emery cloth will get the job done.
