Crosby, are you sure there are no bleed holes in the new housing? I don’t have one to look at, but I do have this OEM one which I think is for a 35hp. They went out of their way to deal with the shaft hole. First, they added a seal, then they also added a slot between the outlet tube and the area between the the plastic housing and the stainless cup.
