Mumbles, those pawl springs will fair better if the tag end that goes though the large post goes over the top of the coiled section of the spring. Then the tag end can be bent downward slightly to retain the spring. This will help prevent uncoiling and give a longer life to these delicate springs.
Yeah, I was wondering about that after I put them on. Something didn’t look right. I’ll get them on the correct way when I take it apart again as Tubs great diagram shows the thin washers below the ring, not on top where I placed them. Thanks guys, all good information!
