    Don’t expect miracle speed from that 30 HP. The 1956 30 was really a well-tuned 1955 25 HP. Same cubic inches, etc. A lot of people that traded their 25s for the 30 were disappointed in having very little performance improvement. with the right prop and a light enough boat, you may get 28-30 MPH. The 1957 35 HP that replaced it was a definite step up.
