The gear case is off and apart, however, parts inside are rough from long ago. There was a small amount of 80-90 so no recent rust. Going to require some replacement parts.
The top end has been soaking with penetrating oil from both sides and the top for a week….nothing moving yet. What is visible thru the ports does not look too bad……..but looks, as we know, can be deceiving. It will most likely sit for some time now. Shot of lube every once in awhile.
