I just went and checked the service manual … there is a detailed 4 page instruction as to installing the “generator Kit” . Apparently no voltage regulator is required and the existing junction box remains, just the installation of a couple fuses. No mention of replacing the wiring harness, so I guess that all the required wires exist. A new dash panel with an amp meter is required. Looking like a pretty major job requiring all the correct parts.
