The Johnson A-65 was my first outboard back when I was 14 years old used it on many fishing trips and it never let use down , time clicked on until I was about 28 and my dad bought a QD 11 so the A-65 hung on the rack in the garage , a friend wanted a motor for his grandson so I sold it to him , . time clicked ( about 20 years ) and I get interested in old outboards and the A-65 kept coming into my mind, It took me a year and half to find one , then I restored it and ran it for the first time at Constantine , it is in my collection and will not be sold until after my wake were it will be beside my urn . here is a picture of it as it is tody
