    The seller said it came off a 18hp. I don’t think the seller was dishonest just a mistake. The starter that came with it is a Auto-Lite MDH 4001M 12K. When I look that up I can’t make much of the information. The starter guy said it’s not worth fixin. The motor a Johnson 20R-70C is one I like to bang around in. Nothing I am trying to restore just trying to get the pull factor out of it Ha! If I could find a starter for it I believe it would work. If not I’ll just ship everything back and start all over. Season is about over anyway.
