I picked up the subject motor today and did a quick check, and here’s
    what I know…….

    The transom screws say “Elto”.

The lower unit looks different than my 1925 Elto Light Twin Lightwin model “C”,
therefore I have no idea what year the lower may be.

On the powerhead crankcase base is the serial? number 4220136

It has a tillotson MB2A carb, butterfly controlled with a short piece of
    throttle cable.

There’s a casting number on the timer showing 100937,
and I see no advance lever to move the timer, nor anyplace
    one would go.

The appears to be a homemade adapter plate, barely noticeable, between the lower unit
and power head, but everything else appears like it fit without alteration.

If it ever did run, it appears to be a very old “remodeling job”!

All information on what I have greatly appreciated!
