    Don, I took the drain/fill screws out and drained the gearcase. The fluid came out brown, slightly light, not as bad as the fluid that came out of my 5.5. I did not see separation but I just drained it and will check it after a few hours to see what it looks like. It will probably do good to replace the seals if need be. What do you think?
