MonteNZ – I have a couple of Scotts of the same vintage. I will check this weekend to see where the serial number is located. As I recall, on some of the earlier motors, it was stamped on the leg or the transom bracket.
I am fairly certain that I have an extra tiller lock collar. I would be happy to send you the parts if you cover the shipping charge.
