    I’m not quite sure what you mean by falls off the roller… It is normal for the ignition to be able to retard past the point of the cam being on the roller in most OMC engines of this type….So, I’m not sure you have a problem here. Now, if the roller goes back too far after coming off the cam causing it to jam against the edge of the cam when the throttle is re-advanced, that is a problem…
