Thanks for the reply, hope you’re doing well. Earliest QD, 10-13 I believe, look much like the ones shared with Evinrude but are completely different. No choke on the carb, but a primer instead. I need to dig out my Johnson master manual and look at the diagrams to see if the primers look similar.

I haven’t owned the smaller early Johnsons that used the design you are so familiar with. You must have worked on a bunch of them to get involved with making primer seals.
