    I think the driveshaft and shift rods might be a slightly different height on the 55 and older versions of the 5.5 and 7.5 models when compared to the rubber mount midsection engines….
    This is a great topic though, so I guess I will have to do some research…But, I don’t have access to 1955 parts books…
