Thanks Cyber Sheriff,
I was all over that website and couldn’t find this assembly. I have also searched every link and picture I could find,but as things go I couldn’t get a look at that throttle link area to confirm or dismiss this set-up.

The wire appears to be original for the motor..but it may have been shortened to hook up where it is,and it doesn’t look like it would be a very good shut off switch either.

We’ll see if someone else chimes in.
