    Check, check and recheck as you drill.
    Use good drills, Not so good drills give not so good results.
    You get one good shot at getting it right.
    Leave nothing to chance
    If it is not going as hoped, STOP and study
    the situation. If things are going bad, going ahead
    usually makes things worrse not better.
