Interesting conversations and info gents, and very timely for my most current project.
A friend has recently gifted me a little 1hp M-W Sea King which appear to share many features of the Elto Pal. I am very early into the disassembly process, but the motor seems to be free and complete. It had smoke damage from a garage fire, and only seems to have burned up its plug wire.

Fuel tank appears to have been painted a gold colour, as was the lower unit. The tank decal is toast (no pun intended), but I’m confident that I’ll be able to locate a vinyl substitute….somewhere?
