Thanks guys, I just want it to run decent . . . I will clean up this antique pump
and list it here in the classifieds to offset the price of a new, modern square body pump.
I bought this one off of ebay for a Johnson Evinrude pre 1993 9.9-15hp 397839 397839 18-7350
The seller said it will work on my 9-1/2.
I have the gummed up carb soaking in a can of parts cleaner now . . . should be all good soon.
