Since the video, I remounted my impulse pump about an 1" away from the power head, and
put a thick gasket behind it so it doesn’t get cooked.
Now that I know it runs, I’ll look for a cheap skeg / gear case cap
this winter. It had been welded up at one time and now it’s missing
the gear lube fill / drain hole! Also one of the fuel control knobs
had a silver metal knob with a "W" on it, that doesn’t fit correct.
Presume it was a "wipper" knob from a car of long ago, and not
a rare "Wevinrude outboard" knob.
