    Do I need to do a full tear down??

    Removed the KD3 (scintilla) coil today so I can replace the rotting sparkplug wire– It wasn’t even soldered on?!!!!

    Of course one of the clips flew off (I thought it made the distinct noise of landing in a particular box, but can’t find it)!

    Coil tests as 1 ohm on the primary, and 6490 on the secondary (had spark before opening it up).

    The condenser measures 0.354 microFarads.
