Tubs, I’ve done a couple of skegs using alumi-weld and my oxy-propane
torch set up. Not sure if they’d hold up for every day use, but they
survived the barrel test!
The first time I tried putting one on, not thinking, I “vee’d” both sides of the
metal, brazed up the first side, then of course, flipped it over
to braze the other side,……. and then melted the first side, lol.
Now I just make one deep Vee, and dress up the unwelded side with a little JB
weld before painting.
