I am planning on calling Monday to see if the said vibrator is still available. Also these guys were used to run a step up trans for the primary winding as J.W. explains so well between the lines. J.W. Been there done that with my 51 Buick radio too when a record player in the trunk cost too much. Gasoline was under half buck back then & our music was confined to the AM band….remember??

I almost had another one built but the switching transistor was out of production & didn’t want to rob Fords in the scrap yard for parts. I wanted new parts! And yes it has remoting sockets as well. 😉
