    I received a “gotcha” when I built up a 5.5 / 7.5 lower unit from parts salvaged from various motors. Everything went fine till I tried to put the prop on. It wouldn’t slide all the way on without banging up against an obstruction. Seems like the webbing inside the prop was the interference, but sorry I just don’t remember all the details.
