When you say you tilted the motor and it got worse . You mean that you lifted the foot of the motor up like tilting up ?
Yes that would make it worse . You need to lower the foot as far down as you can go or even install transom wedges to get more down angle on the motor ..Also if your running long shaft motors on a short transom that would cause some problems ..
