Evinrude only made remote controls for the electric start model. This included provision for starter, choke and throttle. I use a dead mans throttle on my Speeditwin for speed control, and use longer back studs holding the crankcase to driveshaft housing to include a steering bar. The steering bar also makes it easier for two to handle the motor.
