    You may have to pull that lever out, not push it in to release the tilt lock, can’t remember. Or, you could just reach in and push the tilt lock bar out of the way so the engine will tilt down. Usually, you need to tilt the engine up slightly to release pressure on the mechanism so it can be moved out of the way though.
